We were delighted to host the Merck Curiosity Cube in our school on Monday 30th May.

Merck have very kindly donated a whopping  €1,000.00  to our school to fund STEM activities at St. Mary’s N.S.

We feel very lucky and are very appreciative of this generous donation.  No doubt it’ll be out to good use in our school.

The Curiosity Cube®️ is a retrofitted shipping container that has been transformed into a mobile science lab equipped with the latest technology which hosts interactive, hands-on science lessons to spark curiosity in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) for students aged 8-13.

The curiosity cube was staffed by Merck employees, allowing students to ask questions and discuss their possible future careers in STEM.  The girls had a wonderful experience exploring the Curiosity Cube.
